Attorney/Independent Director
Mr. Vint is an independent director of Monterey Oil & Gas Corporation and serves as the company’s European representative. He is based in the European Union and brings more than 35 years of experience across legal, regulatory, and capital markets roles within the energy and financial sectors.
Mr. Vint began his legal career as a tax attorney at ExxonMobil, where he advised on downstream operations, asset dispositions, and real estate matters. He has since advised a range of international companies, including Veriff and Betsson Group, on legal and corporate finance matters related to expansion into U.S. markets.
His capital markets experience includes roles on J.P. Morgan’s institutional fixed income desk and at Beal Bank, where he worked on distressed debt acquisitions and asset-backed lending transactions. He also served in the Legal Division of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, where he advised on receivership matters arising from the 2008 financial crisis, including regulatory policy, claims resolution, and appellate proceedings.
Mr. Vint holds a BA in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has completed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
